Spice level 1
Sweet, slow-burn romance with nothing more than stolen glances, lingering touches, and maybe a kiss or two. Perfect for readers who like their fantasy with just a hint of romance.
Spice level:
Warm
Spice level 2
Playful banter, lingering glances, and enough romantic tension to keep you grinning at the page. Things are definitely heating up, but we’re still in the realm of suggestive rather than sizzling.
Spice level 3
The chemistry finally bubbles over into on‑page moments that bring the heat to life. There’s enough detail to leave you a little flushed, but the romance still works hand‑in‑hand with the adventure.
Spice level 4
Things are getting very descriptive. You may blush. You may need to put the book down for a second. Definitely not a “reading on public transport without consequences” situation.
Spice level 5
These books are pure fire – explicit scenes, sizzling chemistry, and enough heat to make you reach for a glass of water while you read.
